Cody's been saying Google is awesome for as long as I can remember, and today I'm inclined to agree with him. During a little internet jaunt this afternoon I found this website:

According to that website, if you dial 1-800-GOOG-411 you can place a call for information for FREE. Yep, I said FREE. None of the typical ridiculous information charges applied!
While we lived in Lubbock it was easy to carry an extra FEIST phone book in the back of my car so I'd have all the numbers in the city in one place if I needed something, but around the DFW area there are so many cities so close together there is no way to be able to carry around all those phone books (I'm not a proud owner of an IPHONE). But now my problems are solved - I'll just pick up my cell and dial Google to ask for the number without having to worry about what sort of insane charge will be popping up on my phone bill.
Google is awesome.

Funny! On Saturday we were out and about and needed a #, Dan told me about the goodle thing, but could never remember the correct number for it etc. So, we paid the crazy fee for a 411 call :) Next time, we will save our $ and use google.
